I'm Lauren, a senior English Literature major at the University of Pittsburgh. I'm the kind of person who gets excited by ice breakers and fun facts on the first day of school, so first thing's first: 

1. I am a Philadelphia native who is currently captivated by Pittsburgh's midwestern charm.

2. I am an unapologetic lover of both Kurt Vonnegut and Nicholas Sparks.

3. I am an early 2000s pop culture enthusiast.  

As I complete my last semester at Pitt, I can't go a day without hearing, "oh, so what are you going to do with that?" My answer? Anything I set my mind to. 

Through my major and certificate programs, I've developed a passion for books, media, and marketing. I love to interact and engage with the stuff that creates culture, and particularly, I find my niche in editing, writing, and producing material for publication. Through my varying experiences at Pitt, I've found that as long as I am writing, editing, and creating, I can adapt to diferent environments and thrive.
